For those of you having an internet connection called Internet Gateway
showing up in your network connections on your laptop on other computers
where it should not show up, here is how to disable it.
go to Start
Control Panel
Ad/remove Programs
Ad/remove Windows Components
go to Network Services
Uncheck “Internet Gateway”
and finish by pressing OK.

Computer on workgroup requests password, even though password has not been set..
FIX
Maybe the user is disabled:
go to run:
1. type compmgmt.msc
2. system tools
3. local users and groups
4. users
5. double click in the icons which has an x
6. uncheck the box, account is disabled, then apply

choose small or large icons…
